Stock market drops by 25.16 points, trading volume 11 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Wednesday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 25.16 points to 2,821.13.

On Wednesday, 238 companies traded 23,343,201 shares, generating a turnover of Rs 10,972,254,473.

While the share prices of 62 companies increased on Wednesday, the share prices of 174 companies decreased, while the share prices of 8 companies remained stable.

Himalayan Re Insurance saw the highest turnover on Wednesday. The company traded Rs 967 million, 95,308. The company’s minimum price per share has reached Rs 1,115.

On Wednesday, the shares of 2 companies experienced a positive circuit, while the shares of Green Development Bank fell by 6.84 percent.
