Stock market drops by 11.49 points, trading volume hits Rs 8.39 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen by double digits on the first trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed down by 11.49 points to 2668.31.

On Sunday, 15.855 million shares of 305 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of 8.39866 billion rupees.

On Sunday, while the share prices of 68 companies increased, the share prices of 168 companies decreased, while the share prices of 6 companies remained stable.

On Sunday, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited had the highest turnover. The company has a turnover of Rs 311.6 million. The price per share of the company has reached Rs 1,344.

Also, on Sunday, the shares of 2 companies saw a positive circuit, while the share price of Saptakoshi Development Bank fell by 6.52 percent.
