Kathmandu. The stock market has declined by a modest percentage on the last trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has closed down by 2.70 points to 2818.43.
On Thursday, 19 million 41 thousand 514 shares of 310 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 10 billion 10 million 18 million 17 thousand 681.
While the share prices of 99 companies increased on Thursday, the share prices of 132 companies decreased while the share prices of 12 companies remained stable.
Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Thursday. The company’s share price is Rs 1,073 per share after raising an additional Rs 1.128 billion.
On Thursday, the shares of 3 companies experienced a positive circuit and the share price of one company experienced a negative circuit.
