Stock market declines by double digits, trading volume reaches 8.43 billion rupees

Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen by double digits on the first trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at a point of 2706.51, down 16.21 points.

On Sunday, 213,239,677 shares of 328 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a transaction worth 8,433,358,9785 rupees.

On Sunday, Radhi Hydropower Company recorded the highest transaction. The company collected 687,697,000 rupees more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 573 per share.

On Sunday, while the share price of 53 companies increased, the share price of 192 companies decreased, while the share price of one company remained stable.

Also, the share price of 2 companies has entered a positive circuit, while the share price of Balefi Hydropower has decreased by 7.47 percent.
