Banepa, Kavre: An elocution competition and a massive blood donation program have been organized with the support of Sindhu Bikas Bank, which has a corporate office in Banepa Kavre.
As part of the bank’s annual action plan on corporate social responsibility, branch office Barhabise, in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society Barhabise sub-branch, organized an open blood donation program at Bahrabise Municipality-08 on May 29, 2082 and a city-level inter-school elocution competition at Shree Private Paradise Secondary School.
A total of 18 students from 10 schools of Bahrabise municipality participated in the city-level inter-school elocution competition organized at Private Paradise Secondary School.
More than 200 people attended the event. A cash prize of Rs 12,000 was given to the first prize winner, Rs 9,000 to the second and Rs 6,000 to the third runner-up.
A total of 43 people participated in the blood donation programme. The bank has also said that it will continue its social responsibility. Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited is a Regional Development Bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB).
Sindhu Bikas Bank has 26 branches in kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Chitwan and Makawanpur districts.
