Siddhartha Premier Insurance pays out over Rs 2 billion in claims, only Rs 870 million for floods

Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited has paid a total of over 2 billion claims in the financial year 2081/82 so far. The company has settled 11,382 claims and paid a total of 2.91 billion claims.

The company has paid 873.1 million of the above-mentioned claim amount due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains in the month of Ashwin, while the remaining 1.2179 billion has been paid under other daily claims received by the company. A total of 12,388 claims have been filed so far this fiscal year.

The company is making every effort to settle outstanding claims as soon as possible, and since the payment of outstanding claims has been delayed due to non-receipt of necessary documents from the insured, the concerned insureds have been requested to submit the documents related to their claims to the surveyors assigned for damage assessment, the company’s branch offices, provincial offices or head office across the country and submit the documents as soon as possible.

We also request that the company always remains committed to settling claims as soon as possible.
