Kathmandu. Siddhartha Hospitality, the leader in chain hospitality in Nepal, has entered its 27th year. The company’s journey, which began in 1998 with a simple hotel in Tikapur, Kailali, has now spread across the country.
At a program organized on the occasion of the anniversary, Siddhartha Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Krishna Neupane said that Siddhartha Group is working on ‘Vision 2030’ with a plan to promote the country’s tourism and make Siddhartha nationwide.
He also informed that he plans to operate at least 58 small and large outlets in the country and abroad by 2030. “Currently, we are preparing to operate hotels in various places in Nepal as well as in India, and then we plan to expand our services to other countries,” he said.
Siddharth Hospitality has become synonymous with quality in the hospitality sector in the past year. The company says that this is confirmed by the various awards it received last year.
Just last year, Siddharth Riverside Resort in Chumlingtar on the Prithvi Highway was honored with the Best Riverside Resort award from the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA). Additionally, Siddhartha Boutique Hotel in Boudha received the SATA Award for Best Boutique Hotel.
Siddhartha Resort in Surkhet received the Best HR Practice Award from the Karnali Province Government. Similarly, various outlets were also honored with the Traveler’s Choice Award for excellent service and hospitality.
Siddhartha, in collaboration with Lumbini University, has launched a campaign to teach skills to students studying in Bachelor in Hospitality. Siddhartha has also been emphasizing on promoting organic food produced in Karnali from his hotel in Surkhet.
Plans to expand services abroad
Siddhartha Hospitality, which is expanding its services in various parts of the country, is now expanding its services in India as well. Not only that, it has also taken forward plans for a five-star hotel in Dhangadhi.
Siddhartha has operated Siddhartha Cottage in Yogikuti, Butwal, in which a water park and the best assembly hall in the region are also being built. The restaurant is currently completed and operational, and the remaining work is expected to be completed by Ashad. The company is also building Siddhartha Cottage in Dhangadhi. A peaceful garden, a restaurant with modern facilities, and a water park are being built, as well as the best conference hall in the region.
The company is also planning to build a luxury resort in the tourist destination of Ilam. The resort will include villas with views of tea gardens, organic farm-to-table cuisine, wellness programs, and cultural experiences.
Currently, more than 2,500 direct employees are working at various outlets under Siddhartha Hospitality. Siddhartha Hospitality is one of the largest employers in the hospitality sector.
The company currently operates hotels under the Siddhartha Villasa brand at the five-star hotel level, Siddhartha Vaibhav at the four-star level, and Siddhartha Batika at the three-star level. Apart from that, the company has stated that preparations are underway to operate Siddhartha Cottage, Siddhartha Cafe and S Hotel under the company.
According to the company, the company, which provides services from Birtamod in the east to Mahendranagar in the west, is operating its own hotel as well as managing other hotels.

Like in the past, Siddhartha Hospitality has organized various programs with community involvement on the occasion of its 27th anniversary. Under corporate social responsibility, all outlets, from cafes to five-star hotels, have completed nationwide programs in the areas of health, hygiene, environment, and social support.
