Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the claim that Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba went to Bangkok to topple the government is baseless. Prime Minister Oli has said that it is painful to link the issue of government change even when he goes to Bangkok for health treatment.

Commenting that attempts are being made to link the reference to Deuba’s visit to Bangkok for health check-up with rumors that the government will fall, Oli promised to hand over the prime ministership to President Deuba after 15 months as per the agreement with UML and Congress.

At a program organized on the occasion of the 76th founding day of the Nepal Communist Party, he expressed dissatisfaction with the external discussions that Minister Bhattarai’s resignation was due to the Prime Minister’s non-cooperation and neglect. He said, “He is a minister I made.

Oli has claimed that Education, Science and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai resigned due to health reasons rather than disagreement with him. He added, “I am providing work. I am helping. I am teaching. There is a big ministry, now he resigned because his health is not good. There is no point in making other propaganda about this.”
