Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that educated, qualified and healthy citizens are the country’s biggest capital. He said this while addressing the 30th convocation of Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel on Friday.
He said that the government is aware of the issue of education and the government is working towards how to provide good education to every Nepali child and youth, quality education and easy access education.
Stating that some of the results in see last year had shown a negative situation, he said that the government has taken effective steps to improve the results and there will be no such delicate situation as 48 percent pass this year.
Stating that 65 per cent of the students will pass the examination and improve the results every year, he said that their aim is to take the students on the path of success.
“Educated, qualified and healthy citizens are the biggest capital of the country. Therefore, the government is aware of the issue of education. How to give good education to every Nepali child, youth, quality education, easy access education? It’s about that. We have also made extraordinary progress. Last year, there has been a negative situation in some results in SEE. The situation that cannot be appreciated will improve this year itself. Because we have taken some effective steps. This year, there will not be a critical situation like 48 percent pass. This year, we will at least reach 60, 65 percent. We continue to develop the pass position every year. Our aim will be to take the students on the path of success. ’
Prime Minister Oli said that they were not looking for employment opportunities but were trying to take them towards creating education.
