Sangita Pahadi appointed member of Upper Tamakoshi Board of Directors

Kathmandu. Sangita Pahadi has been appointed to the board of directors of Upper Tamakoshi HydroPower Limited after a corruption case was filed by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

Pahadi, who is also the managing director of Nepal Telecom, has been appointed as a board member of the board.

Pahadi’s post of managing director has been vacated after the Commission filed a corruption case. Hitendra Dev Shakya, executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has been appointed as the chairman of The Electricity Authority of Nepal (NEA). Madan Timsina Phanindra Raj Joshi, Rajan Rishi Kadel, Srijana Subedi, Rajan Shrestha, Hari Prasad Bhurtel and Deepak Karki are the board members.
