Kathmandu. Salt Trading Corporation has convened its 58th Annual General Meeting. The company’s board of directors meeting held on Falgun 6 has called for the meeting to be held on Chaitra 15 at the Tribhuvan Army Officers Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.
The company has stated that the meeting will pass a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of Rs 32 million (including tax) as cash dividend at the rate of 10 percent of the current paid-up capital for the fiscal year 2080/81.
The meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s reports for the previous fiscal year and will also approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his remuneration for the current fiscal year.
According to the company, the meeting will consider the Companies Act, The meeting will discuss and pass the approval of taking loan facility as per clause (b) of Section 105 (1) of 2063. The meeting will approve the relief amount deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for flood victims.
The company has decided to close the book from Chaitra 1 to Chaitra 15 for the purpose of the meeting. The company has informed that only shareholders who are active in NEPSE trading before Chaitra 1 will be able to participate in the meeting.
