Kathmandu. The 28th Annual General Meeting of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited for the financial year 2080/081 has been concluded.
The company has succeeded in earning 4.79 billion insurance premiums in this financial year 2080/81, which is an increase of 4 percent compared to the previous financial year 2079.80. In addition, the company has succeeded in earning 31 percent more net profit compared to the previous financial year.
Similarly, claims of 2.83 billion have been paid in this financial year compared to the claims of 2.38 billion in the previous financial year. The company has stated that the company is moving forward with the goal of providing high service and returns to its customers in the coming fiscal years as well.
The meeting passed the annual report of the Board of Directors, the financial statements of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company for the fiscal year 2080/081, the appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/082, the distribution of 15 percent cash dividend to shareholders as recommended by the Board of Directors, the increase in the meeting allowance of the Board of Directors as proposed by the Board of Directors, and the amount paid under social responsibility.
