Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the obstruction stalled in parliament would be removed within a few days. He said this while talking to media persons in the parliament premises on Friday.
According to him, progress is being made gradually after the meeting at Baluwatar. He said that if the government commits to a reliable investigation, the obstruction of parliament will be removed. He said the ruling party had agreed to conduct an inquiry, but there was no agreement on forming an inquiry committee, conducting an investigation under the leadership of a former judge or anything else.
Chairman Dahal said, “Efforts are being made to gradually ease the environment after we stayed in Baluwatar. Little progress has been made day by day. Investigation is the main thing. The opposition said that if the government’s commitment to a reliable investigation comes, we can resolve this issue in a positive way. It was also said that it would be appropriate to talk to the President of the Nepali Congress once in this regard. ‘
“Recently, I again spoke to purna Bahadur Khadka, Gyanendra Karki, Shyamji, among others. It has been agreed not to run the House today and to paste the notice. I think there will be a positive landing on this issue in a day or two. The ruling party seems to have agreed to investigate. There has been no agreement on forming an inquiry committee, conducting an inquiry under the leadership of a former judge or doing something else. The ruling party also argues that the committee should not be formed until a case is registered under special powers as the investigation into the visit visa case has been started in the CIAA. This issue is also under discussion,” dahal said.
Chairman Dahal said that the ruling party also argued that the committee should not be formed until the case is registered under special powers as the investigation into the visit visa case has begun with the CIAA.
