Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Chanda Karki has demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, she demanded the resignation of the Home Minister.

She said the home minister was found to be involved in the author’s visit visa and urged him to resign and pave the way. She demanded that the Home Minister should resign even after 15 days and help in the investigation, saying allegations were being levelled against him on a serious issue like human trafficking in the country.

He said that if he is innocent from the investigation, then no one will stop him from becoming a minister again.

Lawmaker Karki said, “We know our Honorable Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak as a cultured, cultured political activist. But now the issue of human trafficking, organized crime, property purification has been widely raised about visit visas. I remember how many Urdu sairis also spoke. We have not said that the Home Minister is at fault, but an ethic has to be on his own. ‘

“We expect that from people who have practiced well-cultured politics. If the Home Minister had resigned earlier, the height would have been much higher. It is still expected that after such a big human trafficking scandal has arisen in the country, all the opposition parties in the House are protesting, while the Honorable Home Minister will resign for 15 days. After that, we will be able to come back after investigation,” she said.

Lawmaker Karki stressed the need for the government to improve its work.
