Kathmandu. National Independent Party MP Manish Jha has demanded a separate license for tippers, saying that accidents have increased due to tippers not following the law.
Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Friday, he made this demand. He alleged that tippers, which are funded by local level people’s representatives, are not following the law. He said that the state mechanism for managing tippers is weak. MP Jha has drawn the government’s attention by saying that tippers are being forced to ply in Sitapaila and Dharke despite not being allowed to ply.
He also questioned whether the government will also reduce road accidents or just count the number of deaths.
