Kathmandu. The government has set a target of achieving 6 percent economic growth rate in the next fiscal year. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel presented the budget for the next fiscal year in the joint house of the federal parliament.
The government has set a target of curbing inflation at 5.5 per cent. The government has allocated Rs 407.89 billion capital budget for the next fiscal year. The government has planned to achieve 6 percent economic growth on the basis of the same capital expenditure allocated by the government.
The government has projected 4.6 percent economic growth in the current fiscal year.
