Rs 109 billion for social security allowance

Kathmandu. The government has allocated Rs 109 billion for the distribution of social security allowance. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that rs 109 billion has been allocated for all types of social security allowance in the budget presented in the joint session of the federal parliament.

The government has said that the national identity card for social security allowance will be implemented gradually. Similarly, those with regular income will be linked to contribution-based social security.
