Rs 1.1 million damaged due to fire

Jhapa. Jhapa: A fire broke out in Mechinagar of Jhapa district, causing a loss of Rs 1.1 million. According to Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Jhapa, the house of Maniraj Adhikari, a resident of Thople Biran of Mechinagar-9, caught fire today.

According to the police, all the materials including clothes, utensils and furniture were destroyed in the fire. The fire was brought under control with the help of locals, police and mechi municipality’s fire engine.
