Kathmandu. River tubing has been started for the first time in Nepal. This service, which has been extended from Dolalghat to Pachuwarghat on the Sunkoshi River in Kavre, has emerged as a new destination for adventure tourism enthusiasts.
River tubing has now become a topic of interest to many. Tourists participating in this service will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural flow of the river while sitting in large and strong rubber tubes.
This journey of playing with the waves of the river not only provides an adventurous feeling but also provides physical and mental refreshment. This service can be an excellent option, especially for tourists who want to enjoy cool water in the summer. On the first day itself, 48 people took the river tubing service.
‘Majhi King’ Yaman is the founder of Majhi River Tubing Nepal. According to him, this project was started with the aim of further expanding adventure tourism in Nepal. He said, ‘Although there are many hill destinations and trekking options in Nepal, the facilities for enjoying the river are limited. We have tried to give it a new direction.’
The river tubing package also includes catering and transportation arrangements for those participating. On this journey, which starts from Dolalghat, you can also taste local dishes. In addition, special discounts have been arranged for tourists who visit during the first month on the occasion of the inauguration.
This service is expected to promote domestic and foreign tourism as well as have a positive impact on the local economy.
