Kathmandu. The Revenue Investigation Department, Revenue Investigation Office, Butwal has filed a case against Sundar Hardware and Plywood (Est. Le. No. 302134247). The company has filed a case alleging revenue evasion.
The case has been filed in the Tulsipur, Butwal Bench of the High Court after investigating the transactions of the shop and warehouse operated by the company’s proprietor Jogendra Agrahari.
The office claims that during the search and investigation at the company’s business premises, the crime of revenue leakage was committed under Section 4 (g) and (i) of the Revenue Leakage (Investigation and Control) Act, 2052.
The office has filed a case under Section 2(1) of the Revenue Leakage (Investigation and Control) Act, 2052 54 lakh 41 thousand has been imposed. A charge sheet has been registered in the Tulsipur, Butwal Bench of the High Court, demanding a total fine of 1 crore 8 lakh 82 thousand including the fine and maximum imprisonment.
