Tanahun. The Inland Revenue Office in Tanahun has collected Rs 8.31 billion 91 million in revenue in the eight months of the current fiscal year. This amount is one percent less than the set target.
The office was given a target of collecting Rs 8.40 billion 17 million in revenue, and 99 percent of the target has been met, said Lal Bahadur Khatri, head of the office. The office has set a target of collecting Rs 14.93 billion 54 million 69 thousand in the current fiscal year.
25,000 taxpayers are included in the tax net at the Tanahun office. Entrepreneurs and businessmen from Lamjung, Gorkha and Manang have also been paying revenue here.
Construction of water tank with pump
The Division Forest Office has constructed a water tank with a capacity of 4,200 liters with a pump at a cost of Rs 385,000 to be used during fires.
Forest Officer Sharad Kumar Adhikari said that water tanks have been arranged as a precaution as fires occur during the dry season. RSS
