Revenue collection of 37 billion from petroleum products, import of 87 billion more

Parsa. In the first six months of the current fiscal year, Birgunj imported 87.32 billion 39.40 billion rupees worth of diesel, petrol, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), aviation turbine fuel (ATF), and kerosene, generating a revenue of 36.96 billion 36.24 billion rupees.

In the first six months of the current fiscal year, 4 billion rupees more revenue has been collected from petroleum product imports compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. The Birgunj Customs Office has stated that 18.98 billion rupees have been collected in revenue from 479,799 kiloliters of diesel imports worth 42.24 billion rupees in the first six months of the current fiscal year.

In the first six months of the current fiscal year, 12.47 billion rupees have been collected in revenue from 220,385 kiloliters of petrol imports.

In the first six months of the current fiscal year, 1.1 billion rupees have been collected in revenue from 89,380 kiloliters of ATF imports worth 8.9 billion rupees and 100 million rupees have been collected in revenue from 4,200 kiloliters of kerosene imports worth 362 million rupees.

Five types of petroleum products worth Rs 88.78 billion were imported in the first six months of 2080/81. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, Rs 32.95 billion 41 lakh 46 thousand in revenue was collected from the import of petroleum products.
