Revenue collection of 14.46 billion in eight months

Chitwan. The Inland Revenue Office has collected 21.40 percent more revenue this year compared to the previous fiscal year. This is 27 percent more than the revenue collected till mid-Falgun last year.

According to the office’s information officer Bimal Poudel, this year till mid-Falgun, Rs 14.4664 billion in revenue has been collected. Last year, Rs 11.9161 billion in revenue was collected during the same period.

The department has collected 92.14 percent of the revenue collected this year against the target of Rs 15.701 billion. The department had set a target of Rs 27.928749 billion in revenue collection last year.
