Kathmandu. Machhapuchhre Bank has signed a formal agreement with Malaysia-based CBL Money Transfer. The bank has signed the agreement with the aim of making remittances from abroad to Nepal more convenient, simple and reliable.
The agreement regarding remittances was signed by CBL Money Transfer’s Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Saidur Rahman Faraji and Machhapuchhre Bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Prasid Raj Aryal.
After the said agreement, Nepalis living in Malaysia can now use 15 branches of CBL Money Transfer in Malaysia, and CBL The bank has stated that the amount sent to Nepal through MBL REMIT from the City Remit app of Money Transfer can be easily paid through 165 branches of Machhapuchhre Bank, 99 branchless banking services and 11 extension counters and more than 20,000 remittance agents across Nepal.
Also, the bank has made arrangements for the remittance sent through MBL REMIT from CBL Money Transfer and City Remit app to be immediately deposited in any bank account in Nepal. For the convenience of Nepali workers in Malaysia, Machhapuchhre Bank has also provided the service of Machhapuchhre Bank’s mobile banking app (MBL M-Smart) on the mobile number of the Malaysian.
