Global IME Bank, which has given top priority to digital banking, has added attractive features to the ‘Global Smart Plus’ app. The bank has introduced real-time loading facility on e-com dollar card through mobile app with the aim of providing more easy and effective digital banking service to the customers.
Along with this, customers will be able to load us dollars needed for activities such as international online shopping and service membership on to the card from their own mobile. According to the bank, this card of Visa brand will be valid for international transactions.
With the availability of real-time loading facility, the hassle of going to the branch to load the amount on the dollar card has ended. Online shopping, international subscriptions and other digital services can be easily paid as money can be loaded quickly from the mobile app.
The bank believes that this will save time, energy and cost and provide easy access to global online transactions. Customers will have to pay Rs 500 while the renewal fee has been fixed at Rs 300 per annum while issuing virtual cards. There is no charge for top-up through mobile banking.
A maximum of $500 can be transacted annually through e-com dollar cards. Customers can easily apply online using the ‘Global Smart Plus’ mobile app.
The ‘Global Smart Plus’ app has been making banking services fast, safe and user-friendly. Through this app, account management, money transfer, bill payment, QR payment, wallet load and other services are easily available.
The bank believes that the real-time dollar card top-up feature added to it will be a special attraction. Global IME Bank is recognized as the best bank in Nepal under global finance’s Best Bank Award 2024 and Euro Money Award for Excellence 2024.
