Kathmandu. Real estate transactions have increased in the current fiscal year 2081/82 BS. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, there has been an increase in the transaction of real estate, allotment and revenue collected from it in the current fiscal year compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.
In the 10 months of the current fiscal year, rs 4.54 billion revenue has been collected from real estate transactions. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, the revenue collection has increased by 17.55 percent compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.
In the same period of the previous fiscal year, revenue of Rs 3.86 billion was collected.
According to the Department, Rs 327.25 million has been collected from service tax, Rs 2.45 billion from registration fee and Rs 1.71 billion from capital gains tax.
Similarly, The Land Revenue Office, Lagankhel, Lalitpur has collected the highest revenue. The office has collected Rs 388.35 million in revenue in the last 10 months.
Similarly, Land Revenue Office, Dillibazaar, Kathmandu is the second highest revenue collector. The office has collected Rs 351.77 million in 10 months. Chabahil, Kathmandu is at the third position with a revenue of Rs 288.359 million in 10 months.
Similarly, The Land Revenue Office, Kalanki, Kathmandu has collected Rs 289.64 million, Land Revenue Office Bhaktapur Rs 272.98 million, Land Revenue Office Kaski Rs 187.95 million and Land Revenue Office Chitwan Rs 139.163 million.
A total of 52,423 land deeds have been approved by land revenue offices across the country in the month of Baishakh. The land revenue offices had approved 49,782 instruments across the country in the same period of the last fiscal year. This year, the approval of instruments has increased by 5.30 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Inaruwa, Sunsari is the first to pass the highest number of documents in the month of Baishakh. Inaruwa has approved 2,035 land deeds.
Similarly, Janakpurdham and Dhanusha are in second place, which has approved 1,760 land deeds. Similarly, Bhadrapur and Jhapa have passed 1,711 instruments, Belwari Morang 1,701 and Rajbiraj and Saptari 1,516.
