Kathmandu. The opposition Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded the resignation of the Home Minister. A meeting of the party’s parliamentary party held in Baneshwor on Tuesday decided to demand the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak on moral grounds.
RPP chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi said the home minister should resign on moral grounds.
“We have decided to demand the resignation of the Home Minister on moral grounds. Likewise, the parliamentary party meeting held today has said that the honorable Prime Minister would incite violence during the demonstration to be held on May 15 in direct violation of the Constitution of Nepal. The Prime Minister will ask for an answer to that statement. ’
The meeting has decided to seek the prime minister’s reply on the statement that the rpp and other political parties have made statements to incite violence.
