Rastriya Banijya Bank provides pre-service training to 97 newly appointed employees

Kathmandu. Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has conducted training for employees selected for Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces through written examination and interview conducted by the Public Service Commission.

The bank conducted a 14-day pre-service training for a total of 97 employees, including 95 newly appointed assistants (administrative service) and 2 senior assistants, in Kathmandu.

Inaugurating the training, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Devendra Raman Khanal said that the people have great trust in this bank and to maintain that trust, the employees working on the frontline should always serve responsibly.

He said that the bank has appointed young employees after various processes. He said that the increasing risks in the banking sector should be minimized and action should be taken.

In the program, the bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officers Saraswati Adhikari and Devesh Prasad Lohani made the newly appointed employees understand the duties they should adopt while carrying out their responsibilities at the workplace.

In the program, Bhim Prasad Ghimire, Department Head of the Human Resources Department, administered the oath to 97 newly appointed assistant and senior assistant employees in accordance with the bank’s employee service regulations. The program was conducted by Haribabu Acharya, Deputy Head of the Department of Human Resources.

The program was attended by the bank’s Deputy Executive Officers Binay Raman Poudel, Durga Kumari Kandel, Department Head Padyama Lakshmi G.C. and other employees.
