The cold has increased in the area due to the snowfall. Farmers are happy with the hope that the crops will flourish after the snowfall. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve Ranger Binod BK informed that the snowfall has turned the Dhorpatan Valley and the surrounding areas black.
The snowfall has made life difficult for the people. BK said that although the weather has been bad since last Friday, there was only snowfall with rain on Sunday evening.
Prem Bahadur Gharti Magar of Dhorpatan Municipality-9, Dhorpatan, said that due to the snowfall, it was difficult to even feed horses, mules and livestock.
Although there was normal rainfall last month, there was no snowfall. Gharti says that snowfall with rain will improve the crops. He said, ‘There was a drought for a long time, all the crops planted in the fields had started to dry due to the drought, but it rained even though it was late.’
