Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors is going to bring the Malaysian Proton Emas 7 EV car to Nepal. Proton’s EV Emas 7 car, which was launched in Malaysia last December, is now coming to the Nepali market.
After Malaysia, Proton is preparing to launch the ‘Emas 7’ EV in Trinidad and Tobago, Singapore and Mauritius, including Nepal. The Proton ‘Emas 7’ is available in two variants, Prime and Premium.
The Proton ‘Emas 7’ has received a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP and has scored a total of 92.57 points. Of which 39 points were scored in adult occupant protection, 17.32 in child occupant protection, 20 in safety assist and 16.25 in motorcyclist protection. These ratings clearly show that ‘Emas 7’ prioritizes the safety of passengers and road users.
Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of Shankar Group’s two-wheelers and four-wheelers for Nepal, is understood to be bringing the demo car to Kathmandu in January, and although the company has not given official information, it is preparing to launch it in Nepal by the third week of March.
At a time when the EV market is currently attracting attention in Nepal, ‘Emas 7’ is expected to provide advanced features and cutting-edge technology as per the needs of Nepali customers.
