Kathmandu. Protective Micro Insurance Limited has distributed school bags to 110 students of Gwasi Basic School under Chure rural municipality of Kailali district.
Under the chairmanship of Resham Thapa, chairman of the school management committee, the company distributed bags to 110 students of classes 1 to 8 studying in the remote area of the district as part of its social responsibility.
Students, parents, office-bearers of school management committee, local people’s representatives, office bearers of Teachers’ Parents Association and officials of Protective Micro Insurance Limited were present on the occasion.
It is believed that such initiatives will add more energy to the students’ learning as the participation of the private sector in the development of education at the local level is increasing.
