Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that most of the suggestions given by the private sector have been incorporated.

Commenting on the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 presented by Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel in parliament on Thursday, Chairman Dhakal said the budget has included many things of the private sector.

He made it clear that he now feels that the private sector will be encouraged after the financial act has come into force. Dhakal said that the budget aims to promote foreign investment and believes that it will increase the involvement of the private sector in import and export.

Rajendra Malla, former president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, said revenue could be the main challenge even though all the things included in the budget were good.

Former Chairman Malla said that the overall budget has been good, adding that the budget has been good overall, including the announcement that the startup business will not be taxed for five years to encourage the younger generation as well.

President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Kamlesh Agrawal said that the private sector has taken the budget positively. He said that all the programs have come good but the rest will be known after the Financial Act.

Chairman Agrawal said that the budget was positive for other things if the employees worked with good intentions on the issue of revenue collection. The Finance Minister said that the demands of the private sector have been included in the budget by taking them positively.

Commenting on the budget, the private sector entrepreneurs said that the budget is overall promising and the rest can be responded only after the financial act comes into force.
