Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the private sector has an important contribution in creating employment opportunities within the country. Inaugurating the National Labor and Employment Conference, 2081 today, Prime Minister Oli expressed the view that the role of the private sector will be even more important as the government is working to bring about a change in the situation by developing entrepreneurship and advancing the national aspiration of a prosperous Nepal, happy Nepali.
He said that Nepalis will work in various foreign countries, but if employment opportunities are not created in the country, the economy will not be uplifted, so attention should be paid to increasing production and productivity by making full use of science and technology. Prime Minister Oli emphasized the need to produce skilled human resources who can compete in the global market and create as many jobs as possible in the country.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Skill Development Academy and the employer company during the program. Similarly, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Labor and Employment and the Swiss Agency for the expansion of the Integrated Labor Market Information System under the Prime Minister’s Employment Program.
