Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged industrialists and businessmen to create conditions for increasing exports to neighboring India and China, including international markets, by producing in large quantities.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the 8th International Chamber Expo organized by the Nepal Chamber of Commerce at Bhrikuti Mandap today, he emphasized the need to produce in large quantities to increase exports and to know where what goods are sold and to increase trade accordingly.
Says that Nepal will move forward with greater speed as the infrastructure development process continues. Prime Minister Oli said that the new government has been formed to restore the economy to normal after the adverse impact of political instability. .
In the course of infrastructure development, the government is making Tribhuvan International Airport a boutique airport, expanding other airports, and expanding access to the sea via the river. It has been clarified that all these have been started for the development of industries and businesses and to make the country prosperous.
‘The trade figures that we are currently preparing. It is not real. Only those bought or imported for consumption cannot be considered trade.’, Prime Minister Oli said, ‘We will have to use science and technology to increase various social activities and production. The current government is very serious about the development of the economy.’
Urging everyone to come together to upgrade Nepal from a low-income country, Prime Minister Oli expressed happiness over the Chamber Expo with the goal of improving himself and the country. At the program, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung said that the government would clarify the policy level on artificial intelligence and make legal arrangements, and the ordinances brought by the government would be useful for the business development of the information technology sector.
Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal informed that various ordinances recently brought by the government have brought positive hope in the industry and business sector. The chamber’s fair, which has 125 exhibition halls from countries including Nepal, India, Pakistan, and more, will run until Magh 21.
