Kathmandu. Prime Minister Oli has said that the youth have gone out for employment for some time under the contract. He said that temporary, waged employees will also be brought under the ambit of social security, saying that the youth have gone out for some time and they will return to the country later.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Tuesday on the occasion of the seventh Social Security Day, Prime Minister Oli said that those who have served for a short time will also be included in the social security fund at the same time.
Oli said that the government is committed to bringing all the youth who have gone for foreign employment under the ambit of the fund, saying, “The issue has come up whether temporary, waged, etc. under this contract will fall under the ambit of that security fund or not. If they serve for only a few days, this rule should be implemented. 2.5/2.6 million youth employed outside the country may have gone out. People have not only left, they have also returned. They have gone out for a while under employment contracts and are returning.’
Prime Minister Oli also said that the government has no other goal than the happiness and prosperity of the people.
