Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel has drawn the attention of the government to formulate timely policies, rules and arrangements for conducting the Hajj in a systematic manner. He made the request while extending best wishes to the pilgrims who are going to perform Hajj this year at Mecca Madina at The President House Sheetal Niwas on Friday morning.
He said the culture, art and tradition of the Muslim community in Nepal, which has multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural characteristics, has its own uniqueness.
He stressed the need for all to work together for its conservation and promotion in our country which has diverse ethnicities, communities and languages. It is necessary to move forward by promoting brotherhood, friendship and harmony among themselves through this, he added.
President Poudel said, “According to the belief of The Muslims, Hajj pilgrimage is like a spiritual rebirth where people will get an opportunity to get rid of all their sins and sins by reaching the house of Allah.” The concerned authorities will pay attention to provide all kinds of facilities for the convenience of hajj pilgrims carrying such sacred faith and beliefs. I would like to draw the attention of the stakeholders to the need to make necessary policies, rules and arrangements according to the time to conduct the Hajj work in a systematic manner.
