Preparations for the Federation’s convention, including an industrial exhibition, are complete, and Prime Minister Oli will inaugurate it.

Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepalese Industries and Entrepreneurs has completed preparations for its general convention and industrial exhibition. For the first time, the federation is going to hold a general convention with an industrial exhibition for industrial promotion, and preparations for it have been completed, informed the federation’s coordinator Bhagirath Sapkota.

The federation is holding its third national general convention on Chaitra 8 and 9. The industrial exhibition including the general convention is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli as the chief guest.

The coordinator Sapkota also informed that the convention is being held with the objective of working for the benefit of industrialists and entrepreneurs by creating an industrial environment in the country in the current difficult situation. According to Sapkota, the federation is going to hold a general convention with elections at the Karki Banquet Hall in Babarmahal with the participation of about 3,000 industrialists and businessmen from all over the country.

Similarly, the federation is going to hold an industrial exhibition to market the products produced by small, medium and large industries in the country, informed the federation’s coordinator Bhagirath Sapkota. ‘Due to the long-term economic recession, the morale of industrialists and businessmen is currently declining,’ he said, ‘The industrial exhibition is going to be held to create an industrial environment and make economic activities in the country dynamic.’

The federation will invite industrialists and businessmen from all over the country to the convention and exhibit the products they produce. He also informed that the venue will be made a gathering place for producers and buyers. More than 3,000 industrialists and businessmen from all over the country are expected to visit the exhibition.

The exhibition will feature products produced by small and medium farmers to large industrialists from East Mechi to West Mahakali, said Gopal Khanal, coordinator of the fair sub-committee. ‘We are setting up about 100 stalls in the fair, from small, medium and large, from Ghalughrelu to medium and large,’ he said, ‘where everything from Jimbu, Yarcha, Silajit to Eastern Chhurpi, cardamom to tea and coffee will be available in Karnali.
