Kathmandu. Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Vice President of the National Independent Party, MP and economist, has said that it is necessary to separate bankers and businessmen.

Wagle said, “There is a lot of debate on whether or not to separate banks and businessmen. A group is raising questions about how practical it is at this time. But my opinion is that it must be separated. Because interests conflict. The middleman rule that is happening now. The parties are in their hands. The financial institutions are in their hands. As this monopoly increases, they are dominating. We have to break it.”
According to Wagle, it is necessary to take a decision on separating banks and businessmen based on necessary studies and facts rather than being carried away by emotions. He also said that non-banking assets have now increased alarmingly.
