PM Oli, Thai PM meet, sign agreement on cooperation in culture and tourism

Bangkok. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on an official visit to Thailand, met with Thai Prime Minister Pe Thong Than Shinawatra today.

Prime Minister Oli was accompanied by Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amrit Bahadur Rai, and others.

Earlier, Prime Minister Oli was welcomed by his counterpart Shinawatra at the government building in Thailand. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an agreement on cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism will be signed after the meeting. Similarly, various agreements will be exchanged between non-governmental and commercial organizations between the two countries.

After the agreement, both Prime Ministers are scheduled to hold a joint press conference. After that, Prime Minister Oli will attend a luncheon hosted in his honor by his counterpart Shinawatra. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn today.
