Parsa. Magnus Pharma, operating in the Birgunj-Palthaiya Industrial Corridor, is set to increase its investment in the existing industry by Rs 1 billion and also produce ‘injectable’ medicines.
The company is installing and testing the necessary equipment to produce ‘vials’ and ‘drops’ and will start working at full capacity from next Baisakh to produce new medicines, said the company’s Managing Director Sudhir Prakash Maskey.
He said that the new ‘injectable’ plant added to the industry will produce medicine vials and ampoules, as well as drops used in the eyes, nose and ears.
‘The company has more than one hundred “Even though we have established a plant capable of producing medicines, we have so far received permission to produce 20 types of medicines,” he said.
The company currently employs more than 350 people directly. The company, which had a turnover of Rs 1.26 billion in the last fiscal year, is targeting a turnover of Rs 1.40 billion in the current fiscal year.
