Petrol price increased by Rs 2, diesel by Rs 3, kerosene by Rs 3

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene. Today’s meeting of the Corporation’s Board of Directors has increased the selling price of petrol by two rupees per liter and the price of diesel and kerosene by three rupees per liter, effective from midnight today.

With the price adjustment, petrol has been fixed at Rs 162.50 per liter for the first class, Rs 164 for the second class and Rs 165 for the third class.

Similarly, diesel and kerosene have been fixed at Rs 153.50 per liter for the first class, Rs 155 for the second class and Rs 156 for the third class.

The Corporation has increased the selling price of petrol by two rupees per liter and the price of diesel and kerosene by three rupees per liter, effective from midnight today. Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj depots have been classified as first class, Surkhet and Dang as second class and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal as third class. The Corporation has clarified that the price adjustment has been made as per the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation today, petrol has increased by Rs 2.24 and diesel by Rs 3.55 per liter.
