Currently, the country is under the influence of western winds and the weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is clear. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that fog has settled in many places in the Terai.
According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather in the Kathmandu Valley until this afternoon. The minimum temperature here will remain at 8.5 degrees Celsius this morning, while the maximum temperature is forecast to be 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, he informed.
