Kathmandu. National Independent Party (RSVP) MP Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has said that the failure to enact the necessary laws and regulations for the implementation of federalism on time has created despondency among the citizens. Speaking during a special session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he said this.
He said that the federal parliament, which should bear the important responsibility and liability of lawmaking, had to prepare a report with a list of laws that had not been enacted.
He commented that the fact that the parliament and parliamentary committees are in a state of indecision in the formulation of necessary laws is a sign of terrible dishonesty. He said that lawmaking should be accelerated, keeping in mind that time waits for no one.
