Parliamentary panel decides to send probe report on Patanjali land scam to CIAA

Kathmandu. A parliamentary committee has decided to send the investigation report on the Patanjali land scam to the CIAA. A meeting of the Public Accounts Committee held on Thursday decided to send the investigation report on the Patanjali case to the CIAA.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, committee president Rishikesh Pokharel said the meeting decided to recommend to the CIAA for further investigation and necessary process as complaints have been received in the Public Accounts Committee related to the Patanjali land scam.

The meeting also decided to extend the time of seven sub-committees formed to study the complaints received in the Public Accounts Committee by one month.

He said, “We had made preparations to complete the complaints received in the Public Accounts Committee by forming seven sub-committees for a long time. It was said that the time period was not reached. The deadline has been extended to complete the project within a month. A complaint was filed with the Public Accounts Committee in connection with the Patanjali land scam. We sent them to the ministry and various places without inquiry. We made the last file. It has been decided to recommend it to the CIAA for further investigation and necessary process. ’

Pokharel said there was no mistrust in the report of the sub-committee on Pokhara Regional International Airport and it has already been sent to the CIAA for further investigation.
