Kathmandu. The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee has directed the government to re-demarcate the buffer zone.
The committee meeting held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday directed the government to re-demarcate the buffer zone. In the committee meeting, committee chairperson Bimala Subedi directed the re-demarcation of the buffer zone and the conflict between people, wildlife and forest personnel in the buffer zone.
She directed the Ministry of Forests and Environment to further systematize the human rights of people living in the buffer zone. He said, “The Ministry of Forests and Environment will be directed to further regulate the conflict between people, wildlife and forest personnel in the buffer zone and the re-demarcation of the buffer zone and the human rights of people living in the buffer zone.”
The committee meeting discussed Sections 9 and 72 related to the Ministry of Forests and Environment regarding the bill to amend some Nepal Acts.
