Kathmandu. As part of its unwavering commitment to empowering adventurous endeavors, Panchakanya Group is supporting Kabita Nepali – a renowned fitness icon and artist – on her ambitious Everest and Lhotse climb, starting from Chaitra 30.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Panchakanya Group has financially supported Kabita Nepali’s mission. The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Shrestha, said that the support for this social work is not only for her as an artist but also as a symbol of her multifaceted talent and national pride.

The company is confident that Kavita, building on her experience of excelling in the Boogie Woogie International Dance Competition and Chinese Martial Arts in 2018, will now carry the hope of a generation in the Himalayas and the lasting power of Nepali women.

A Legacy of Heights

This partnership will enable the Panchakanya Group to scale new heights in various specific fields for a long time. The tradition of supporting Nepali women in their endeavors continues. The group carried a public banner to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in 2013, marking the 40th anniversary of its company.

In this vein, the courageous Nepali women who set out to climb Mount Everest, Nisha Adhikari, Dr. Preeti Bhusal, and five courageous Nepali women journalists who are professional journalists, have played a major role in breaking patriarchal stereotypes and representing Nepal on the world stage, making Nepal proud.

Women through Corporate Social Responsibility Empowerment

The company is confident that this sponsorship, announced during a special event on International Women’s Day, will embody the Panchakanya Group’s belief in creating a meaningful, long-term impact beyond financial support.

The company’s corporate social responsibility strategy focuses on five main areas. It has further strengthened its commitment to ethical, inclusive, and sustainable development through education, environment, women’s empowerment, health and sanitation, and skill development.

‘Kavitha’s journey is more than a climb, it is a message to brave people around the world,’ said a spokesperson for the Panchakanya group, ‘We are proud to support and assist her as she takes the story and spirit of Nepal to the top of the world.’
