Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has said that they will continue their agitation until the home minister resigns over the visit visa issue.

CpN (Maoist Centre) Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey said this while talking to reporters after holding discussions with chief whips and chief whips of Singha Durbar under the leadership of Speaker Devraj Ghimire on Friday.

He said that the budget was allowed to be presented in the parliament on Thursday keeping in mind the activities against the country, people, responsibility, constitution and system.

He said that the visit visa case is a matter related to bad luck, politically related to human trafficking. He claimed that their agitation would continue until the cases related to corruption were corrected.

He said it was the government’s responsibility to resolve their demands.

“We have given our movement for the implementation of the constitution and the budget by remembering the various activities related to the country, the people, the sense of responsibility, our constitution, our current situation, and the system going on outside,” he said. We have allowed the parliament to move forward only for three programmes. Since then, our movement has remained the same. That theme is related to bullying, politically related to human trafficking. That’s why it’s related to corruption. We can’t go to our place without correcting it. Our movement is going on and we will raise that issue in parliament. It is up to the government to solve it. ‘

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has also been demanding his resignation, alleging that he was involved in the case of extorting lakhs of rupees from those going abroad on visit visas.
