Kathmandu. A meeting of the opposition parties representing in the federal parliament has concluded that the meeting of the House of Representatives cannot continue until the three demands put forth earlier are met.
A meeting of the three opposition parties held at the Parliament House, New Baneshwor today, kept the demand for a high-level inquiry committee into the ‘visit visa scandal’ intact and concluded that the Meeting of the House of Representatives could not be held until the resignation of the Home Minister, according to Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Manish Jha.
The opposition parties have demanded the formation of a commission of inquiry related to the ‘Visit Visa Scandal’ from the arrival of the Labour Act, 2064 to the tenure of the current Home Minister. A meeting of the main opposition parties CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (NCP) and CPN (Unified Socialist) came to this conclusion, he said. Jha said the meeting decided to make an all-party commitment to resolve the issue once and for all.
