Jhapa. One person died in a road accident this morning at the Juke Culvert in Kankai Municipality-1 on the East-West Highway.
According to the police, 50-year-old Hari Prasad Sitaula of Jhapa Rural Municipality-6, Sharanamati, was seriously injured when his motorcycle (Me4P 950) traveling from west to east lost control and hit a diversion.
Sitaula, who suffered head and forehead injuries, was sent to B&C Hospital in Birtamod for treatment. The District Police Office has stated that he was declared dead after being taken to the hospital by a doctor.
