One dead, one injured in motorcycle accident

Kathmandu. One person died today in a motorcycle accident near the Mudkhu checkpost in Tarakeswor Municipality-5 here.

29-year-old Suraj Humagain, a resident of Sinamangal, Kathmandu, residing in Tarakeswor Municipality-3, Mudkhu, died when his motorcycle numbered Ba 57 Pa 6166 went out of control and crashed, the District Police Range, Kathmandu, has said.

According to the spokesperson of the range, Superintendent of Police Apil Bohara, Bohara, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Green City Hospital, Basundhara. The police also stated that the motorcyclist injured in the accident is being treated at the same hospital.
